JP Morgan is considering to offer clients acces to Bitcoin

A few weeks back, Jamie Dimon (CEO of financial services at JPMorgan Chase & Co) shocked the crypto enthusiasts around the globe by terming Bitcoin as a scam.

Dimon also claimed that Bitcoin attracts criminals like drug dealers and money launderers. Many people in the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin community were offended by his comments that targeted the digital currency and its users.

Although the skepticism, JPMorgan is reportedly considering offering access to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange’s Bitcoin trading options through the exchanges futures-brokerages department, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal.

Jamie Dimon’s open disdain for Bitcoin has made him sort of infamous as a Scrooge in the world of crypto. In the past, Dimon called Bitcoin a fraud, and insulted the intelligence of anyone who chose to invest in it.

If the news will prove real, the bitcoin price will again move upward to higher horizons.
